Hi Phil, good to have met you, you have some great shots, but the oldies are the best!

Thanks, Andy. They really are dreadful scans, though. In the dark winter months I'll have another go. Phil

Hi Ross. I'm not an expert, but there's a tool in photoshop somewhere that I stumbled across. I've only an old version and it's a bit hit and miss. To be honest I was more bothered about the curvature than the 'lean'. The 18-70 seems to suffer from 'barrel' distortion at the wide end - even the loco is curved. The whole image needs pinching a little. Try this http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/correctinglensdistortion.htm Phil

You're quite right. The date is when the collection was started. I'm sorry I haven't got round to doing any captions yet. Phil

Hello Phil. Some Great shots here. Well done. I was wondering if you could help me with this location. Where it is and how to get there would be a great help. Thank you for your time in this matter. Kind regards Phil Jones ..........philip_jones2000@hotmail.com

It's Peak Forest. You can walk all the way from PF to Gt Rocks by taking a footpath which starts about 100 yards south of the old station. I get to PF itself by walking/jogging/sprinting(!) the two miles from Dove Holes if I can't be bothered to drive or I'm having a 'green' moment. Phil
